Skylink is set to build an ultra morden factory picture

Skylink Agro Solutions Limited is set to build a new ultra modern facility under the 1D1F innitiative of the government of Ghana in the Nkwanta South District in the Oti region

The project which is estimated to be completed by mid of 2020 will increase the company's output and generate 70 direct and over 200 indirect jobs.

The total cost of the project is estimated at $1,000,000 .

The CEO of Skylink group, Mr Stephen Wilson Bojewura is optimistic that the project will impact the lives of the people in the Nkwanta South Municipality.

He said Skylink Group comprises of Skylink Farms, Skylink Foods and Skylink Agro Solutions ( providing technical advisory services to both Skylink Farms, Skylink Foods and a number of enterprises).

The company will among others process cassava into HCFQ, Alcohol, Starch, Gari etc, process yam into yam flour, Maize into Maize flour etc.

The CEO thanked government for the opportunity given to entrepreneurs in Ghana to expand their operations.

Both the government of Ghana and Skylink Agro Solutions LTD have far advanced discussions on the support from Ghana government to enable the company expand it's operations.

The support when received will help the company employ a minimum of 70 new workers, increase the tonnage of both cassava and yam flour from 1 ton a day to 4 tons each a day.

The company will increase it's products line from 6 currently to about 11 by November 2019.

The company will complete it's state of the art factory it has started on a 2 acre land in Nkwanta in the volta region. Sales will increase from $300,000 to some $1m by 2020.
